Best known for writing “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo,” his poetry inspired generations to honor the nation and remember the sacrifices of its heroes. After a remarkable literary and musical journey spanning decades, he passed away on 11 December 1998 around the evening in Mumbai, leaving behind a legacy that still echoes in every patriotic melody.
