Kavi Pradeep, born Ramchandra Narayanji Dwivedi on 6 February 1915, was one of India’s most revered poets and lyricists, celebrated for awakening patriotic spirit through his timeless words. Best known for writing “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo,” his poetry inspired generations to honor the nation and remember the sacrifices of its heroes. After a remarkable literary and musical journey spanning decades, he passed away on 11 December 1998 around the evening in Mumbai, leaving behind a legacy that still echoes in every patriotic melody.
