Akshay Kumar — The Khiladi of Bollywood

Born on 9 September 1967, Akshay Kumar is one of the most successful and versatile actors in Indian cinema. Beginning his Bollywood career with Saugandh in 1991, he rose to fame through action films and earned the iconic nickname “Khiladi Kumar.” He later showcased his versatility in comedy, romance, drama, thriller, and socially relevant films such as Hera Pheri, Namastey London, Special 26, Baby, Airlift, Rustom, Kesari, Good Newwz, Mission Mangal, and OMG 2

He has received numerous honours, including a National Film Award, two Filmfare Awards, and the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honours, for his contribution to the arts. He has also been recognised internationally for his contribution to cinema and philanthropy. Beyond acting, he is known for his work as a producer and for supporting social causes and charitable initiatives. His remarkable career reflects discipline, hard work, versatility, and perseverance, making him an enduring figure in Indian entertainment.
