Michael Johnson, born on September 13, 1967, is one of the greatest sprinters in the history of athletics.Known as the “Man with the Golden Shoes,” he dominated the 200m and 400m events with extraordinary consistency.
 

He won four Olympic gold medals across the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympic Games.At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he made history by winning both the 200m and 400m, becoming the first man to achieve the feat at a single Games.His 200m world record of 19.32 seconds, set in Atlanta in 1996, stood for 12 years.He also set a legendary 400m world record of 43.18 seconds at the 1999 World Championships in Seville.Johnson won eight World Championship gold medals, establishing himself as a dominant force on the global stage.His remarkable career earned him the nickname “The Fastest Man Alive” and a lasting place among athletics legends.His achievements continue to inspire athletes to pursue excellence through discipline, dedication, and determination.
