At just 22, she displayed extraordinary courage during the hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73 in 1986.She helped passengers escape and stood fearlessly in the face of unimaginable danger. Her compassion and presence of mind saved numerous lives that fateful day. For her supreme bravery, she became the youngest recipient of the Ashoka Chakra. Her life reminds us that true heroism is measured not by power, but by selfless action. Though her life was tragically short, her courage continues to inspire generations.
